The Return of Puff Sleeves

Starting in the 1890’s, finding its way back in the 1940’s, now making another appearance in 2019..puff sleeves are back! I am completely in love with the feminine elegance that this simple design detail brings. There is something so flattering and delicate about it, especially in square neck. Who would have realized adding the smallest puff on your shoulder could totally transform your look?

There are so many variations of this trend such as puff sleeve sweaters, short sleeved, blouses, square neck tops, etc. These tops styled with a pair of denim and low heels has been my favorite look recently. Puff sleeves also can make the perfect work outfit paired with plain or patterned dress pants/trousers. To dress this look up for a more fancy occasion, tucking your top into a midi skirt and adding some fun jewelry would do the trick!
