I have always been a coat lover. I think living in New York City really brought out my love for coats since they essentially become your whole outfit when walking around all day in the fall/winter months. The best part is, no coat is to “extra” in New York City. You can walk down the street in a long black leather coat, a Burberry trench, or a boujee fur coat for example, and you fit right in.
Even though I am very petite and barley 5 ft 2.. I still LOVE a good long coat and don’t let my height stop me from wearing them. Belting your coat, styling it with slim fitting pants, or pairing it with heeled boots can help if you’re short like me. But I honestly don’t really care about how tall I look so I don’t think too much about it! This fall I feel like I’ve really amped up my coat collection and I am not mad about it. They can be super easy to style too. Throw on a fun pair of boots, a chic fall coat and call it a day. Below are some that I’ve been wearing on repeat this season and linked some similar options!
Black Leather Trench

Camel Coat

Wool Trench
This Oatmeal Wool Coat is from Petite Studio and seriously has been my go-to. If you’re not familiar with Petite Studio..they have become one of my favorite NYC based brands who specialize in slow fashion and carry petite sizes. They truly have the most chic pieces of the best quality.

Shearling Coat

Last month I wrote a post called, “Styling Chunky Boots for Fall”, where I shared my new fall boots that would look super cute styled with any of these coats. They’re from Nasty Gal and are such a great dupe of the Prada ones!
Follow along with me on Instagram to see these coats styled lots of different ways!
I love all these coats, I’m an NYC blogger too! 😍
