Gift Guide: Small Businesses

As it is more important than ever these days to shop from small businesses, I decided to round up some of my favorite products that I’ve stumbled upon from small businesses recently! There is something extra special when you buy from a small business. More times than not, the quality is better since it is not mass produced, you may be directly supporting someones livelihood, and your product is more unique!

YUI BROOKLYN CANDLES

I found her Brooklyn based shop on Instagram one day and completely fell in love with all of these unique candle shapes! And better yet, they’re hand poured, natural soy wax candles. These are perfect for anyone who’s into home decor or really anyone you think would appreciate a touch of coziness in their home! The box candle made of circles is my fav 🙂

CAROLA HANDBAG

The fashionista in your life definitely would appreciate a handbag like this! These bags are made of organic silk in Colombia and are absolutely stunning. There are a variation of shapes, sizes and colors as well!

KAYLARAE RESIN DESIGNS GRAZING BOARD

I feel like everyone loves a good cheeseboard these days! And if its not a cheeseboard, it’s still fun to ~aesthetically~ arrange some picking food to graze on. Nonetheless, they look pretty just sitting on your countertop! What a crowd pleaser a board like this would be when we can entertain again. These beautiful boards are handcrafted in Southern California by a 2017 graduate!

Cyan Ceramics Vase

I couldn’t choose just one picture for here! I have been in LOVE with ceramic homeware recently and constantly am on the search for plates, vases, coffee cups, etc. Instead of purchasing from Target or somewhere like that, consider shopping small!

CLUB CASUAL LOUNGEWEAR

Cozy vibes are alllways the way to go. I’ve never met anyone who didn’t love a comfortable matching set! Club Casual is an ultra chic loungewear brand that’s a San Francisco / NY based woman owned brand.

WINEKEY VIRTUAL TASTING

I think this is such a clever idea! We’ve all probably done virtual happy hours with friends or co-workers at this point but this is a whole new idea. Winekey pairs you with a Vineyard who then sends you and your friends wine! They also will send you a Zoom link where you can learn about the vineyard and wines you’re tasting.

These are just a few small businesses that I’ve come across recently but there is definitely more where this came from! Please feel free to message me any of your favorites. I am not perfect in this department, but really looking to support unique small businesses this holiday season!

xx,
Katarina
